雨後的傍晚,孩子們想烤東西的心情又再度湧現


嚷嚷著:「媽媽我們什麼時候還會烤蛋糕、做餅乾? 」


 


我們打開冰箱,把上次做Scone剩下的全麥麵粉和堅果等食材


拿出來發揮一下


嗯,烤個健康的餅乾吧!


 


Making cookies in 30 minutes.  We're all set!



 


This is what we need: muesli, brown sugar, honey, raisins, dried cranberries,


butter, wheat flour, milk


 


食材就這麼簡單喔~~


鼓片、堅果、黑糖、蜂蜜、葡萄乾、蔓越莓


奶油、全麥麵粉、牛奶



 


Let's measure the flour... we need 3/4 cup of flour


Madeline said,


Looking good... now I can add the muesli, nuts, raisins and cranberries. Mix them well.

hmmm, need more raisins...


And cranberries...


 


接下來加配料,倒入已經篩過的麵粉中攪拌繳拌


想想~~ 多點葡萄乾好還是多點越蔓莓??  都加好了!


 


我和兒子Garrison 則是在廚房把奶油用微火


慢慢地融化


 


We are busy melting the butter and adding sugar and honey!


Stir gently with wooden spoon over low heat.


Now lets add the butter mixture to the bowl and mix.


Hmm, it is smelling good...


把奶油倒入麵粉中攪拌


這時已經可以聞到令人興奮的香味




Looks a bit dry... Let's add some milk...


Let's put the cookie dough onto the baking tray!! Mommy will help flattening them...


弟弟覺得太乾,倒了一點牛奶


媽媽把烤盤一拿出來


兩人就迫不及待的伸手下去捏餅乾了!


 


Finishing up...



 


Preheat the oven to 180C.


Bake for 15 minutes until they are light golden...


Remember to leave space between the cookies!


 


放入已經預熱180 度的烤箱 約15分鐘


直到餅乾外表呈現金黃色


 


放入烤盤時要很小心喔


因為烤箱的邊緣也都很燙很燙




8 cookies ready to go!  Watch out! It's hot!


 


Our first nutty, fruity and oaty cookies....


Transfer the cookies to a cooling rack to cool and become crisp.


 


哇!


餅乾出爐!


廚房和客廳都是香噴噴的餅乾味


 


我們都沒有加任何的Baking Soda


但是咬下去是 ㄆㄧㄚ 的一聲,  是外面買不到的脆!


真是創新的口感




Who took the cookies?  There were 8!  (Daddy and Mommy, of course, YUMMY!)


爸媽忍不住各嘗了一塊,


姐弟兩人一邊品嘗,一邊研究


弟弟喃喃自語:有點乾,下次要再加牛奶


姐姐則已經迫不及待的在想下一個cooking project 了!
